Ali was bred by Haydon Hamilton in Victoria.  He was sold on to a competitive home and showed promise under saddle in the dressage arena.  Ali fractured his pastern/fetlock in a paddock accident which ceased his riding career. He was able to be named top 10 National Young Dressage Horse, before he was injured. He was previously known as Ali DFG or Ali. He has a clean jumping technique, movement and even temperament.

Bobbie Bruce was a Stock horse who had 104 registered progeny with ASHS. 4 of his direct progeny are listed as foundation stock for the society. Many others have had an impact on ASH breeding and his line is sought by discerning breeders.

Souvenir is a well known Stallion whose progeny are successful in Showjumping and eventing (Koyuna Sun Glo, MacCartney, Kibah Sandstone, Sky High II, Diamond B Ego and many more) His progeny have represented Australia at the Olympic Games for some 30 years. Yatama Ali carries these lines through his sire as Victory II ,was by Souvenir.
